Ingredients

1 large cabbage head
3 large onions
3 c. vinegar
1 tsp. turmeric
1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. sugar
Preparation

Grate cabbage and onions and put in large glass jar.
Boil vinegar, turmeric, celery seed, salt and sugar and pour hot over cabbage and onions.
Place in refrigerator for 24 hours.
Serve on hot dogs or make reubens.
Use red cabbage if you like for color.
