Freda'S Chicken Crescents - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
    1 pkg. crescent rolls
    1 can chicken or mushroom broth/soup
    1/2 tsp. lemon pepper
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. seasoned bread crumbs (optional)
    4 oz. can mushrooms or fresh
    1 Tbsp. chives
    2 Tbsp. cooking sherry
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Separate rolls into 8 triangles; spread each with a piece of cooked chicken.
    Place sliced mushrooms on each piece, smidgen of chives and pinch of lemon pepper.
    Roll up and seal pastry. Dip in melted butter (roll in bread crumbs, optional).
    Bake at 375\u00b0 until golden brown.
    Place rest of chicken, chives, mushrooms and lemon pepper in broth and heat.
    Serve sauce over crispy baked chicken crescents.
    Serves 4.
