Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white Karo
    1/2 c. water
    1 c. raw shelled peanuts
    3/4 tsp. soda
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Cook sugar, syrup and water until it spins a thread.
    Then add peanuts and cook until peanuts quit popping.
    Then add soda and salt.
    Stir well. Pour into buttered dish.
    When cool, break into pieces.
