Mrs. Bergstrom'S Swedish Rye Bread(Swedish Name: Vort Limpa) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. milk
    1 yeast cake (1 pkg. dry yeast)
    1/2 c. molasses
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/3 c. butter or margarine
    2 tsp. sugar
    4 c. rye flour
    8 c. white flour
Preparation
    Heat milk to lukewarm.
    Soften yeast in 1/2 cup lukewarm water with 2 teaspoons sugar.
    Add dry ingredients.
    Mix well.
    Knead and let rise until doubled.
    Punch down.
    Knead and shape into 4 oval loaves on 2 jelly roll baking sheets.
    Let rise to double in size.
    You can knead in 1 cup candied fruit after the first kneading (before you shape into loaves).
    Bake in preheated oven at 350\u00b0 for about 50 to 60 minutes.
    Makes 4 loaves.
