Apple-Walnut Cobbler - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. chopped walnuts
4 c. diced apples
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 well-beaten egg
1/2 c. evaporated milk (small can)
1/3 c. melted butter or margarine
Preparation

Mix 1/2 cup sugar, the cinnamon and 1/2 cup walnuts.
Place apples in bottom of a greased 9-inch Pyrex dish.
Sprinkle with cinnamon mixture.
Sift together dry ingredients.
Combine egg, milk and butter; add dry ingredients, all at once, and mix until smooth.
Pour over apples.
Sprinkle with remaining walnuts.
Bake at 350\u00b0 about 50 minutes or until center is done.
Cut in wedges. Serve with cinnamon-topped whipped cream.
Makes 8 servings.
