Quick Raisin Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. precooked rice
    1/2 c. seedless raisins
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of cinnamon
    dash of nutmeg
    2 c. milk
    2 slightly beaten eggs
Preparation
    In saucepan, combine rice, raisins, sugar, salt and spices. Add milk.
    Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir well a small amount of mixture into eggs.
    Return to remaining mixture.
    Cover tightly.
    Let stand 45 minutes.
    Makes 6 servings.
