Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. butter (do not use margarine)
2 c. sugar
6 eggs, beaten
4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 lb. candied cherries, chopped
1 lb. candied pineapple, chopped
4 c. pecans, chopped
1 lb. white raisins
4 tsp. lemon flavoring
Preparation

Preheat oven to 250\u00b0.
In a small bowl, beat eggs. In a large bowl, cream the butter. Add sugar gradually. Add beaten eggs. Mix flour with baking powder. Dredge fruit and nuts with 1 cup flour. Set aside.
