Best Ever Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/3 c. sifted flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 Tbsp. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
1 beaten egg
3/4 c. milk
1/3 c. shortening or vegetable oil
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients in mixing bowl and make well in center. Combine egg and milk.
Melt shortening, cool slightly and add to egg mixture.
Add all at once to dry ingredients.
Stir quickly only until dry ingredients are moistened.
Drop batter from tablespoon into greased muffin pans.
Fill 2/3 full.
Bake in hot oven for 25 minutes.
Makes 1 dozen.
