Apricot Jello Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. sugar
    2/3 c. water
    1 large pkg. apricot jello
    1 large Cool Whip
    1 large pkg. cream cheese
    1 can crushed pineapple
    2 jars apricot baby food
    nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Cream the sugar and cream cheese. Add jello, water, pineapple and baby food.
    Cook until blended. Cool in the refrigerator. Add Cool Whip and fold it in.
    Put in a 9 x 12-inch dish and top with nuts.
