Skillet Steak Strips - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. beef round steak (1/2-inch thick)
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 sliced onion
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1 c. Heinz ketchup
1/2 c. water
2 Tbsp. Heinz vinegar
1 bay leaf
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. ground cloves
3 Tbsp. raisins
hot cooked noodles
Preparation

Slice beef into 1/2-inch strips.
Heat oil in large skillet. Brown beef and remove.
In same skillet, saute onion and garlic adding more oil if necessary.
Stir in ketchup, water, vinegar, bay leaf, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, pepper, cloves and raisins.
Add browned beef, cover and simmer 1 hour or until beef is tender. Discard bay leaf.
Serve over noodles or rice.
