Western Beef Casserole Au Gratin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 (11 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
    2 c. water
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. milk
    2 pkg. mashed potato flakes (Idaho brand)
    1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chillies, drained
    2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Lightly grease a 2 1/2 to 3-quart casserole dish.
    In a large skillet, brown ground beef and onion. Drain well.
    Add tomato sauce, garlic powder, salt and pepper; blend well.
    Spoon into greased dish.
    Spoon corn evenly over meat.
