Ice Cream-Jello Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small pkg. jello
    1 c. hot water
    1 to 1 1/2 c. vanilla ice cream
    2 c. fruit cocktail
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in 1 cup hot water.
    Add the ice cream; stir until melted.
    Stir in the fruit cocktail and walnuts.
    Spoon into an 8 x 8-inch square pan and refrigerate.
    To serve, cut into squares and place on lettuce leaf.
    Nuts and cherries may be used for garnish.
