Meatball Soupstilwell, Kansas - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 qt. beef broth
1 lb. extra lean ground beef
1 egg
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
10 green onions in 1/2 pieces
1 c. thinly sliced celery
1 c. thinly sliced carrots
1/2 head cabbage, shredded
2 tomatoes, cut in eighths
1/2 c. rice
1 bay leaf
1 tsp. basil
2 - 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
2 Tbsp. parsley

Preparation

In a large pot, heat broth to simmer.
Meanwhile, mix beef, egg, salt and pepper.
Shape in 1 1/2-inch balls.
