Chicken Breasts With Artichoke Hearts - cooking recipe

6 chicken breast halves
1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
2 Tbsp. salad oil
2 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. white pepper (optional)
3 Tbsp. brandy
2 tsp. lemon juice
1 1/2 c. water
2 chicken flavor bouillon cubes or envelopes
1 c. sour cream
2 (9 oz.) pkg. frozen artichoke hearts, thawed and drained
Preparation

On waxed paper, coat chicken breasts with 1/4 cup flour.
In a 12-inch skillet over medium heat, in hot salad oil, cook chicken until lightly browned on all sides.
Place chicken in a 12 x 9-inch baking dish.
Set aside.
Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
