Pineapple Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box vanilla wafers
    2 c. powdered sugar
    1/4 lb. margarine
    2 eggs
    1 c. pecans
    1 large (16 oz.) can crushed pineapple
Preparation
    Beat eggs.
    Add sugar and margarine.
    Cook in double boiler until thickens some.
    Add pineapple and pecans.
    Pour into 8 x 10-inch dish lined with vanilla wafers and alternate layers with wafers.
    Refrigerate.
    Serve with topping, if preferred.
    This is Bob's favorite dessert.
