Apricot, Nut And Barley Stuffing For Wild Duck Or Goose - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. dried apricots
    1/4 c. raisins
    1/3 c. roughly broken almonds or walnuts or combination
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. ground cloves
    1 c. cooked barley
    salt
Preparation
    Saute the apricots, raisins and nuts in the butter, stirring frequently, until the dried fruit has softened and the nuts are lightly browned.
    Sprinkle in the cinnamon and cloves.
    Stir in the barley and salt lightly.
    Stuff into wild duck or goose. Makes 2 cups.
