Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 sticks butter
3/4 c. shortening
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
3 c. plain flour
1 c. milk
Preparation

Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
Cream together softened butter and shortening.
Add sugar, eggs and flavoring. Alternate flour and milk, mixing well.
Put in tube pan.
Bake 1 1/2 hours. Let set 15 minutes and remove from pan.
Cool completely before covering.
