Cheese Boats - cooking recipe

Ingredients

5 frankfurters
5 strips sharp cheese
5 slices bacon

Preparation

Cut frankfurters lengthwise almost to bottom.
Place 1 strip of cheese in each frankfurter.
Wrap each with a slice of bacon and secure with toothpick.
Place cut side down on rack or broiler pan.
Broil at 550\u00b0 with tops about 5 inches from heat, turning when bacon is crisp, about 15 minutes.
