Hoe Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. basic biscuit mix
    2/3 c. cold water
    2 or 3 Tbsp. bacon fat or margarine
Preparation
    Stir basic biscuit mix with cold water.
    Use bacon fat or margarine to grease a large frying pan.
    Spread the batter to fill the pan.
    Cook until brown on the bottom, then turn, slipping in a little more grease, and brown the top.
    Slice and serve with butter.
