Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks oleo
    2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. white syrup
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 gal. popped corn
Preparation
    Boil oleo, brown sugar, white syrup, soda and vanilla mixture for 5 minutes.
    Stir and remove from heat.
    Add soda and vanilla. Pour over the popped corn; stir well to coat.
    Put in pans.
    Bake for 1 hour at 250\u00b0, stirring every 15 minutes.
    Add nuts, if desired.
