Cole Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage, sliced or chopped
    1/2 green pepper, diced
    1/2 red pepper, diced
    1 medium onion, diced
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. poppy seed
Preparation
    Combine cabbage, peppers, onion and sugar and stir and chill for 2 hours.
    Bring vinegar, oil, salt and poppy seed to a boil. Stir until salt dissolves.
    Pour over cabbage mixture.
    Stir gently; cover and chill for at least 2 hours.
