Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 6 potatoes
    onion
    celery
    garlic
    1 stick butter or margarine
    parsley
    4 to 5 bay leaves
    1 tsp. basil
    1/2 c. Carnation cream
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Cut up potatoes; dice up onion, celery and garlic.
    Saute onion, celery and garlic in butter/margarine.
    Add potatoes and just enough water to cover potatoes.
    Add parsley, bay leaves and basil.
    Cook on low heat until potatoes are soft enough to mash. Remove from stove and cream potatoes; thin with Carnation cream and milk (add more if needed).
    Salt and pepper to taste.
