Chicken A La King - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. butter
1 Tbsp. flour
1/2 c. chicken stock
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. boiled chicken, diced
1/2 c. sliced mushrooms, sauteed in butter
1/4 c. green pepper, diced
1/4 c. pimientos, diced
1 egg yolk, slightly beaten
2 Tbsp. sherry
Preparation

Melt butter in saucepan.
Stir in flour.
Pour in stock and milk, gradually, stirring constantly.
Cook slowly until slightly thickened.
Season with salt.
Add diced chicken, sliced mushrooms, green pepper and pimientos.
Blend in the egg yolk and sherry.
Cook until thick.
Serve on Puff Pastry Shells.
