Strawberry Fudge Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces, melted
    3/4 c. vanilla wafer crumbs
    1/4 c. strawberry preserves
    1/2 c. almonds, toasted and finely chopped
Preparation
    Beat cream cheese at medium speed until creamy.
    Add melted chocolate and beat until smooth.
    Stir in wafer crumbs and preserves.
    Cover and chill 1 hour.
    Shape into balls; roll in chopped almonds and chill.
    You may freeze fudge balls up to 2 months.
    Put single layer on cookie sheet to freeze, then into Ziploc freezer bags.
    Make a day ahead and put into mini paper liners and chill until ready to serve.
    Raspberry preserves could be substituted for strawberry.
