Fudge Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    2 sq. (2 oz.) unsweetened chocolate
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts (optional)
    10 oz. bag Reese's peanut butter chips (optional)
Preparation
    Grease 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan.
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Melt butter and chocolate.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in sugar.
    Add eggs and vanilla, beat lightly just until combined (don't overbeat or brownies will rise too high).
    Stir in flour and \"optional\" ingredients.
    Spread batter in pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Cool.
    Cut in bars.
