Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. frozen hash brown potatoes
    1 small onion, chopped
    16 oz. sour cream
    1 stick margarine, melted
    1/4 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
    8 oz. grated sharp cheese
    1 can cream chicken soup, undiluted
Preparation
    In large mixing bowl, mix together hash brown potatoes (that have been thawed) with all other ingredients, except for topping. Pour into greased 3 quart rectangular baking dish.
