Blueberry Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour, sifted before measuring
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. butter
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. milk
    2 1/2 c. blueberries (fresh or frozen)
    2 tsp. sugar (for tops of muffins)
Preparation
    Grease muffin pans well.
    Sift flour with baking powder and salt; set aside.
    In a large bowl, cream the butter with sugar with electric mixer until soft and fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each until well blended.
    With fork, mash 1/2 cup of blueberries and stir into mixture.
    Add rest of whole blueberries, mixing in gently.
    Fill pans about 3/4 full. Sprinkle each with sugar.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes or until lightly browned.
    Let cool in pans for 1/2 hour before removing.
    Yields 18 muffins in 2 1/2-inch pans or 12 muffins in 3-inch pans.
