Harvard Beets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    dash of cloves
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. beet juice
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 can sliced beets
Preparation
    Mix together the sugar, cornstarch and cloves in saucepan, then add vinegar, beet juice and butter.
    Cook, stirring until thick and clear.
    Add sliced beets and let heat until beets are heated through.
