Special Black-Eyed Peas - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (1 lb. 7 oz.) cans Ranch Style black-eyed peas
1/4 lb. bacon
2 c. chopped celery
2 c. chopped bell pepper
2 c. chopped onion
2 c. diced tomatoes (it's spicier if you use Ro-Tel with green chiles)
Preparation

Fry bacon crisp.
Saute chopped vegetables in the bacon fat. Add peas and tomatoes.
Add crumbled bacon.
Simmer 40 minutes. Serves 8.
