Baked Potato Soup - cooking recipe

4 large potatoes
2/3 c. butter
2/3 c. flour
6 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 c. grated cheese
12 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
4 green onions, chopped
8 oz. sour cream
Preparation

Wash potatoes and peel off most of peeling. Dice and cook potatoes. Set cooked potatoes aside. Combine butter, milk and flour in 5-quart pot. Stir until smooth. Cook on medium, stirring constantly until thick and bubbly. Stir in potatoes, salt, pepper, cheese, bacon and onions. Cook until cheese is melted, but do not boil. Add sour cream.
