Italian Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. minced onion
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 lb. pork sausage
    2 Tbsp. diced garlic
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    2 chopped green onions
    1 large can tomatoes
    1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. sage
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    1 tsp. oregano
Preparation
    Saute onions until tender in a large kettle.
    Add ground beef and sausage. Stir often until meat is done.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Mix well. Simmer, uncovered, for 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.
    Divide finished product into 4 equal parts.
    Serve 1 part with spaghetti and freeze the remaining 3 parts for another time.
