Angel Food - cooking recipe
Ingredients

7 egg whites
1 c. sugar
pinch of salt
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation

Beat egg whites and cream of tartar to stiff peaks.
Sift sugar, salt and flour to blend thoroughly.
Fold dry ingredients into egg whites, then fold in vanilla, taking care not to overmix. Pour into an ungreased tube pan.
Bake in a pan of boiling water at 275\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Serve with fresh fruit and whipped cream.
