Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
2/3 c. water
2 egg whites
vanilla
1 or 2 c. coconut
Preparation

Boil sugar and water until it thickens.
Beat egg whites until stiff.
Pour syrup into the egg whites, beating all the time.
Add vanilla, then coconut.
Mix in half coconut and sprinkle the other half on the cake.
