9 Day Cole Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 heads cabbage, shredded
    1 green bell pepper, chopped
    2 medium onions, chopped
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. salad oil
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Pour 2 tablespoons sugar and celery seed over the vegetables. Heat remaining ingredients to boiling, let cool until still warm. Pour over vegetables and let cool.
    Put into refrigerator.
    Let set for at least 24 hours.
    Gets better every day and will keep for 9 days.
