Mabel'S Crock Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

10 lb. cucumbers
2 c. canning salt
1 gal. water
cold vinegar
7 lb. sugar (at least)
2 Tbsp. whole allspice
2 Tbsp. whole cloves
1 box cinnamon pieces
garlic and fresh dill can be used
Preparation

Wash, drain and cover cucumbers with cold salt brine, strong enough to float an egg (use canning salt; 2 cups salt to 1 gallon water).
Weight down and let stand 3 weeks.
