Ingredients

2 c. milk
1 lemon peel
1 stick of cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
6 egg yolks
3 egg whites
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation

Boil milk, cinnamon and lemon peel; let cool.
Beat rapidly the egg yolks, egg whites, sugar and vanilla extract; add this to the milk mixture.
Pour desired amount of caramel into baking dish, then drain entire mixture onto dish.
Place a baking pan full of water in oven, then place other pan over and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Makes 6 servings.
