Hungarian Goulash Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 lb. beef chuck, cut into strips, or hamburger
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 large clove garlic, crushed
2 Tbsp. paprika
1 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. caraway seed
2 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
6 c. water
2 medium tomatoes, diced
1 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. water
Preparation

In a large saucepot, brown beef and vegetables in oil.
Stir in spices and seed.
Add water and tomatoes.
Bring to boil; cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours or until meat is tender.
Blend flour and water together until smooth.
Blend into soup and boil 1 minute.
Makes about 8 1/2 cups of delicious soup.
