Congealed Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 large pkg. cherry Jell-O
    1 jar cherries
    1 can crushed pineapple
    1 c. cottage cheese
    1 c. evaporated milk
    1 bag marshmallows
    3 Tbsp. mayonnaise
    2 c. nuts
Preparation
    Boil water.
    Pour in Jell-O and mix well.
    Add marshmallows and stir until partially melted.
    Add milk, mayonnaise, pineapple, cherries, cottage cheese and nuts and stir thoroughly.
    Place in refrigerator until congealed firmly.
