Ingredients

1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. lemon flavoring
2 eggs
2 c. cake flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. milk
Preparation

Blend Crisco, sugar, salt, flaovring and eggs; add alternately sifted dry ingredients and milk.
Pour into 2 greased 8-inch cake pans.
Bake 30 to 35 minutes in 375\u00b0 oven; cool and put layers together with Pineapple Filling.
