Curry Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 c. stewed tomatoes, chopped
3 Tbsp. curry powder
1 tsp. paprika
1 Tbsp. chili powder
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
2 small cans tomato sauce
salt and pepper to taste
dash of cayenne pepper
3 c. cooked instant rice
1 small can green chilies
Tabasco sauce to taste
crushed red pepper to taste
Preparation

In a large skillet brown ground beef, onions, garlic, salt and pepper; drain off excess fat.
Return to heat and add curry powder, paprika, cayenne pepper and chili powder; stir well, blending seasonings with meat.
Add tomatoes and tomato sauce; rinse cans of tomato sauce with 1/2 can of water and pour into mixture.
If you like add additional seasonings to taste at this time.
Prepare rice according to package directions.
Simmer curry mixture for 30 minutes; if mixture seems a little thick, add small amounts of water until desired consistency.
Serve over rice with crackers.
