Orange Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 eggs (room temperature for 1 hour)
1 2/3 c. flour, sifted
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. grated fresh orange rind
4 Tbsp. fresh orange juice
1 tsp. vanilla flavor
confectioners sugar
Preparation

Separate the egg yolk and white.
Beat the white of the egg until stiff.
Add 1/2 cup sugar to egg white until blended.
Set aside.
Mix the sifted flour with the salt.
Set aside.
Beat egg yolk until lemon colored (not under 3 minutes).
Add 1 cup sugar to egg yolk.
Beat until well blended.
Add 1 teaspoon vanilla flavor.
Beat again until blended.
Add the flour alternately with the orange juice until well mixed.
Using over and under motion, add orange rind and egg white to mixture.
Bake in Bundt pan at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Sprinkle confectioners sugar over cake.
