Golden Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. rice (white or brown)
1 chicken, cut up
1 medium onion, diced
1 green pepper, diced (optional)
2 cans golden mushroom soup or 1 cream of celery and 1 golden mushroom
salt and water
Preparation

Cover bottom of a 9 x 13-inch glass baking dish with rice. Layer on onion and green pepper. Salt lightly. Arrange chicken, breasts or preferred pieces, onto rice, enough to cover the rice. Chicken can be skinned.
Salt lightly.
Spread soup from cans over chicken with spatula.
Pour on 2 to 3 cups water. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
Add more water, if necessary.
