Marie'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. margarine or butter, softened
    3 1/3 c. sugar
    4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    10 eggs
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream together butter and sugar.
    Have flour sifted 3 times with cream of tartar.
    Add flour and eggs alternately, beginning with flour and ending with flour.
    Add vanilla.
    Bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
