Cracker Jacks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 qt. popped corn
    2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. margarine
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Put popcorn in a large mixing bowl or dish pan.
    Boil all ingredients except popcorn and soda for 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat and add soda.
    Stir well and pour over popcorn, mixing well. Put in large, flat pans and bake for 1 hour at 250\u00b0.
    Stir occasionally.
    Store in tightly closed container when cool.
