Sour Cream-Chocolate Bit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Tbsp. soft butter or margarine
    1 c. plus 1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 1/3 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. sour cream
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate bits
    1 c. chopped pecans (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
    Mix butter with 1 cup sugar until blended, then beat in eggs, one at a time. Stir dry ingredients together.
    Blend with creamed mixture.
    Mix in sour cream.
    Pour batter into prepared pan. Scatter the chocolate bits evenly over the batter, then sprinkle with the remaining 1 tablespoon sugar and pecans (if desired).
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes or until cake just begins to pull away from sides of pan. Serve warm or cooled (do not refrigerate).
