Shredded Potatoes Au Gratin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium white potatoes
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    6 Tbsp. butter, divided
    2 c. sour cream
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Boil potatoes in skins; chill, peel and shred.
    Stir in cheese and 4 tablespoons melted butter.
    Fold in sour cream, onion, salt and pepper.
    Place in greased casserole and dot with remaining butter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Serves 6 to 8.
