Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 tart apples
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. ground cloves (optional)
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. lemon juice
    3/4 c. sifted flour
    1/8 tsp. salt
    6 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Peel, core and slice apples into a bowl. Add 1/2 cup sugar, all spices and lemon juice.
    Mix lightly and pour into a buttered 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Blend remaining sugar, flour, salt and butter to a crumbly consistency.
    Bake for 45 minutes or until apples are tender and crust is nicely browned. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
