Zucchini Beef Casserole - cooking recipe

2 medium zucchini
1 medium onion
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. shredded sharp cheese
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1 can tomato sauce (15 oz.)
Preparation

Wash and cut unpeeled zucchini in small pieces; peel and chop onion.
Put zucchini and onion in pan with 2 cups water and 1 teaspoon salt; bring to boil and cook 15 minutes.
While zucchini is cooking, brown beef in skillet; salt and pepper to taste. Drain zucchini and put in large casserole; add browned beef and tomato sauce.
Mix.
Cover top with shredded cheese and bread crumbs.
Bake, covered, at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
