Pineapple Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Duncan Hines cake mix
    1/2 c. butter or oleo
    1 c. packed brown sugar
    1 can sliced pineapple
    maraschino cherry halves
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Melt butter in 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly in pan.
    Arrange pineapple slices on sugar.
    Put cherry halves in center of each slice.
    Prepare cake as directed on package.
    Turn batter over fruit and spread evenly. Bake 43 to 48 minutes.
    Let stand 5 minutes.
    Loosen from pan upside down on platter.
