Mexicali Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 (14 oz.) can green chili salsa
    1 (17 oz.) can spicy refried beans
    1/4 tsp. ground cumin
    1/2 to 1 tsp. seasoned salt
    1/4 tsp. chili powder
    1 c. raisins
    1/2 c. shredded Cheddar or Jack cheese
Preparation
    Brown beef with onion and garlic.
    Crumble beef. Stir in all remaining ingredients except raisins.
    Stirring occasionally, bring mixture to a boil.
    Remove from heat and stir in raisins. Serve warm with cheese sprinkled on top.
    Use as a dip for tortilla chips and/or raw vegetable dippers.
